Description and Requirements
As a Product Manager, you will manage and define the product offering, positioning, and pricing across the product life cycle of a consumer product portfolio. You will work closely with direct and indirect sales teams, providing guidance on product-related dimensions and planning business objectives for the consumer product portfolio. Your goal will be to achieve these objectives through ongoing adjustments in product decisions.
In this role, you will be the expert in competitor product knowledge, including product features, pricing, marketing, and customer requirements. You will collaborate with and support the sales teams on product strategies, reporting directly to the Product Management Team Leader.
Your responsibilities:
Market and Product Expertise - Product Lifecycle Management
- Market Analysis & Product Strategy: Analyze customer trends and competitive landscapes, gathering insights from sales and partners to refine product configurations, positioning, and transition strategies for new-generation products.
- Business Planning & Financial Alignment: Create business plans by integrating market, product, and financial data, ensuring product positioning, pricing, and promotional activities align with revenue and margin goals. Support local sales with insights and align strategies with go-to-market plans.
- Pricing & Promotions: Collaborate with sales to set competitive pricing, discounts, and promotions that meet financial targets and optimize margins.
- Sales Support & Partnerships: Build relationships with external partners and support field sales in securing major deals and expanding account share in consumer product lines.
You bring:
- Industry Background: Experience in the consumer product industry, ideally with a background in IT or technology.
- Experience: 5+ years in a similar role, with a strong foundation in budget planning, product, or brand management.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills and data management abilities.
- Language: Fluent English is required.
