Description and Requirements
Position Description
GSM (global supply management) team is responsible for Motorola phone business material management and order execution. It covers all components forecast / supply commit, and customer order scheduling & shipment. It also manages ODM / EMS suppliers operations. The team consolidate manufacture sites / supply bases' supply commit, shortage / hedge management plans, providing relevant reports and analysis to global S&OP team.
Scope of responsibility
- Analysis weekly forecast and consolidate global supply commit
- Coordinate supply hedge and allocation
- Lead and drive supply shortage recovery plan and execution
- Order execution and communication
- Serviceability performance analysis and improvement
Position requirements
- Fluent Chinese
- Fluent English (CET-4), preferred Chinese/English/Local Indonesian dialect
- Familiar with S&OP management and planning logic
- Familiar with Smartphone suppliers / components, and supply trend dynamics
- Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities, and good cross functional communication skills
- Knowledges in key parts, e.g. Display, Imager, Battery, Charger, Memory, Chipset, PCB, FPC manufacturing process and finish goods assembly process
Preferred Qualification
- Advanced education in engineering or business administration
- Knowledge of smartphone business and technologies
- 5-7 years working experience in supply chain area. Preferred purchasing position and smart phone industry background.
