Description and Requirements

About the Role:

As the Category Head for Consumer Business, you will drive strategy and lead our consumer business segment across different routes to market in India. Your expertise in Category Management, Portfolio Management, Key Account Management, Channels, and P&L ownership will ensure sustainable and profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an annual strategy for channels, retail operations, marketing, and product portfolio to maximize revenue and market share.
  • Define and oversee quarterly sales and marketing plans to achieve sales quotas and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with AP HQ on product pricing strategies and execute nationwide initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key channel partners, distributors, and retailers.
  • Lead and manage the team, fostering a high-productivity environment and developing leadership skills.
  • Oversee daily operations and manage budgets and vendor relationships.
  • Analyze market trends to implement growth strategies.

  • In-depth knowledge of the PC industry and local market channels.

  • Inclusive leadership with effective communication skills.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in marketing or go-to-market strategy roles.
  • MBA in Marketing or a related field.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Sales targets: Revenue, Gross Margins, Activation.
  • Channel inventory management.
  • Market share.
  • Premium to market growth.
  • Team churn rate
