Description and Requirements

Key role:

  • Overall responsibility for the Central America & Caribbean market through day-to-day efforts to bring One Lenovo to reality; coordinating the efforts of the different BGs to add greater solution value to our customers and partners.
  • Drives the shared functions to execute optimally in support of each BGs objectives.
  • Be the lightning rod for the OL transformation.

Roles and Responsibilities as Territory Manager:

  • Lead and manage the total customer relationship; responsible for revenue, wallet share, and customer satisfaction and driving growth in assigned accounts.
  • Full management responsibilities, potentially for multiple teams.
  • Lead account planning and opportunity identification; conduct opportunity prioritization and develop overall account plans for all assigned accounts.
  • Plan, facilitate and conduct complex negotiations for strategic accounts.
  • Conduct deep analysis in identifying complex problems.
  • Has direct input on technical direction and strategy, which has a significant impact on the business.
  • Understands how closely related functions integrate to drive business unit goals.
  • Lead and maintain senior executive relationships.
  • People management responsibilities, including KPI/objective setting, coaching, performance feedback and assessment.
  • Accountable for their team's P&L, resources, and will provide input on the organization's decision-making for both short- and long-term financial and operational plans.

One Lenovo Market Roles & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the Market I&E PCSD: Personal Computers and Smart Devices, ISG: Infrastructure Solutions Group & SSG: Services& Solution Group).
  • Understand market dynamics & builds GTM plans with BG & sales leaders to maximize growth for all BGs.
  • Agree annual budgets and produce a detailed annual business operating plan covering PCSD, ISG and SSG.
  • Drive all operations within a market & owns the BMS at market level, including target setting for each team.
  • Build a high-performance sales team who understand the benefits of the complete portfolio.
  • Coordinate with Sales & BG leaders to determine the right Lenovo resources to support market opportunities.
  • Build & leverages key partner & customer relationships.
  • Foster the One Lenovo culture & identifies opportunities to drive incremental One Lenovo business within market.

Requirements:

  • At least 15 years of relevant work experience, with a minimum of 5 years of people management experience.
  • Good knowledge of the Technology industry and competitive landscape.
  • Demonstrate expertise in building customer relationships, which promote and enable a deep understanding of the customers' strategies, business goals and objectives.
  • Demonstrate effective coaching techniques; provide feedback and seek/provide learning opportunities.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to others in the development of their strategies and plans.
  • Conduct complex negotiations which build lasting relationships, agreements, and commitments.
  • Anticipate customer problems based on information, data, and trends; develop realistic visions and strategies.
  • Anticipate and clearly define problems; logically diagnoses causes, identify solutions, and create action plans.
  • Applies creativity and judgment in developing new approaches and solutions.
  • High accountability and self-motivation / ambition.
  • Entrepreneurship mentality
