Description and Requirements

Lenovo ISG is seeking BIOS engineers for next generation server products. You will work closely with internal teams and be responsible for all UEFI/BIOS related works during the planning, development, and validation phases of the server product development. Responsibilities (but not limited as list):

  1. Integrate INTEL/AMD RC with Lenovo features for Lenovo projects and verify it.
  2. Monitor Intel/AMD and Lenovo project schedule and future plan for Reference Build release plan
  3. Review the changes of BIOS code infrastructure for Lenovo to do RB release adjustion
  4. Review core merge status to make sure it won't break consistency and robustness of the RB releasing

Requirements

  1. Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar field.
  2. Expertise with Intel and/or AMD x86 system architectures, including processor and chipsets.
  3. 5+ years' experience in BIOS/UEFI development.
  4. Familiarity with Server BIOS development is highly preference.
  5. Good understanding of UEFI architecture and EDK. Strong C coding skills and experience.
  6. Good knowledge of industry standards, such as BMC, IPMI, PCI/PCIe, USB, I2C/I3C, SPD, SMBIOS, ACPI and etc.
  7. Experience with Intel ITP or other HW tools to debug complex system firmware issues.
  8. Well organized, with good written and oral communication skills in both Chinese and English.
