Description and Requirements
The Lenovo Billing and Cost Analyst is a key member of the Service Delivery team, responsible for ensuring the monthly billing process is accurate and complete, as well as understanding services cost and driving reductions.
As the Billing Validation lead for North America, the candidate will own the end to end validation process, working with our vendors to ensure they provide all the necessary documentation for billing exceptions. They will identify transactions that are incorrect or need further details and work with the vendor to resolve any disputes.
As the cost analyst for North America, the candidate will play an integral role in identifying and driving cost reduction opportunities. They will need to develop a thorough understanding of the end to end service delivery process and lean heavily on the knowledge gained through billing validation - recognizing the activities that result in the highest charges, and suggesting actions to improve. They will work with the other geography teams to share best practices and apply them to North America. They will provide monthly reviews to executive management and report the results against pre-established targets.
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in financial or cost analysis or services operations, preferably at a tech company.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communications skills and experience managing vendors
- Ability to organize and present data in a meaningful way to upper management
- Strong data mining and data visualization skills
- Ability to work independently in a multi- cultural environment
- Advanced excel skills preferred.

For Slovak applicants only: Base gross monthly salary starts from 1.750 EUR. The final offer could be, of course, negotiated higher than the advertised minimum - it all depends on your experience! In addition, there is also variable part (a bonus) in value of 12% of your annual earnings.
You will report to SSG (Solutions & Services Group) organization structure.
SSG has been focusing on the expanding IT service market, especially the digital workplace services opportunity, the growing demand for aaS (as a Service) model, and customers' stronger preference for sustainability services. Meanwhile, SSG has continued to invest in software tools, platforms, and repeatable vertical solutions with our own IP, and focus on vertical solutions in manufacturing, retail, healthcare, education, and Smart City. We are expanding TruScale as a Service to include Digital Workplace Solutions, developing our Hybrid Cloud solutions, and exploring Metaverse solutions.
