The AP DG Lead will be responsible for driving the overall strategic direction of Demand Generation campaign/marketing program planning and success metrics for AP Geo (GTAP, India & Japan).

Demand Generation is tightly integrated with Lenovo.com and Call Center business objectives, the AP DG Marketing lead will have clear KPIs in driving qualified traffic/leads to grow revenue for the E-Commerce direct business. The successful incumbent will play a vital role in overseeing and leading eCommerce-led digital marketing strategies that align with both B2C and B2B customer demographic and ensuring the Go-to-Market is effective and successful.

The role requires a Senior Marketer with a proven track record in successfully leading and evolving digital marketing campaigns through innovative technology strategies with a high financial/business acumen.

Key responsibilities:

• Supervision, support and collaborating with Demand Generation Managers in region (GTAP, IN & JP) on strategy and execution of running digital programs across SEO, SEM, Display, Social, Shopping Engines, Affiliates, Email, Non-traditional and Viral programs, CRM and testing of new interactive media options

• Collaborating with Global team to tailor WW strategies for AP Geo. Develop clear frameworks and GTM approach to demand generation for Direct Channels (Web, Inbound Call Center) for regions to execute on our Big Bets and global campaigns

• Interfacing as the main integration point with all other teams in web/product/business unit organizations globally for AP including but not limited to merchandising, pricing, promotions, portfolio, general management

• Management of AP/Global agency relationships, including but not limited to Media, publishers and other martech aAgencies used across AP Geo. From determination of appropriate partners, SOWs, Regional JBP, partner evaluations, cost reviews and ongoing relationships management

• Alliance Fund & budget management, including relationships and programs as required by key partners Intel, Microsoft, AMD and others

• Review of Annual, Quarterly planning and tactical adjustments to all aspects of demand generation programs and tactics for GTAP, IN & JP markets.

• Optimize strategy based on the CDJ, drive marketing decisions based on in-depth data analysis. Strong ability to generate strategic insights from data to identify opportunities to improve customer experience and drive incremental revenue. Well versed in Adobe Analytics or similar web analytics platform.

• Representing AP DG unit in regular updates and presentations to senior stakeholders and other Business Units in region and globally. The ability to effectively manage and collaborate with the interactive team members and relationships both within Lenovo and outside partners- support, direct, ensure effective use of resources, provide clear priorities

Other responsibilities include:

• Managing two direct reports

Working with regions closely in Optimization of campaigns with focus on shop traffic, revenue, conversion, AOV, ROAS (or E/R), profit

• Manage analytics, reporting and analysis of marketing campaigns and programs; provide management reports and insight as needed

• Create and implement efficient workflow processes in order to ensure on-time ad implementation in support of run rate business, product launches and efficient use of Agencies time and budget, internal resources

• Collaborate with internal teams and partners to ensure integration of demand generation campaigns and site experience, offers, messaging etc.

• Continually discover and leverage best practices and new tools within the online marketing domain as applicable to demand generation interactive marketing and tech industry.

Experience:

The successful candidate will have comprehensive understanding of the complete range of interactive marketing elements, movement of customers from initial or funnel stage of shopping to close/purchase, plus the interplay of various pieces of online advertising, /traditional media and B2B/ B2C dynamics

Position Requirements: • 10+ years of Marketing/Demand Generation/Business Management experience.

- Minimum of 7 years of recent online/interactive experience.

- 3+ years of eCommerce/Direct/Merchandising experience.

- 5+ years of proven track record of managing projects/relationships with Ad/Media/Creative agencies.

- 5+ years of managing advertising or merchandising teams.

• Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred.

• Intimate knowledge of all online demand generation categories. Ideal candidate would have been engaged in direct management of significant majority of the demand generation tactics or be extremely familiar with them through previous agency management (SEO, SEM, Display, Shopping Engines, CRM...).

• Strong leadership and communication skills dealing with numerous internal departments on senior and tactical levels, managing significant number of outside Agencies (Media, Creative, Non-traditional, RFPs etc). In addition to Agency management experience, Ideal Candidate must have significant department/team management and development experience.

• Business Management background in addition to Marketing. Ideal candidate would have significant and recent experience in merchandising, general management, P&L, eCommerce experience. This is extremely important due to strong ties with Lenovo.com business teams and responsibility to enable Web and Inbound Call Center to achieve revenue goals.

• Ability to identify and implement quickly online trends in demand generation, drive best practice sharing and continuous learning across the organization.

• Strong prioritization skills and ability to quickly re-prioritize in a dynamic. environment, manage multiple projects at same level of detail, ability to multi-task.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to draw conclusions and determine strategies based on data leveraging Omniture, Internal Sales Reports, heavy use of Excel and OLAP tools to extract and manipulate data.
