Responsibilities:
As part of the AI/IoT Experiences team, you will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance, and sustainable Android applications. You will work closely with engineering leaders, product managers, and designers to define the technical vision and roadmap for Android development and deliver innovative AI and IoT solutions that delights our consumers. Your expertise in mobile architecture, performance optimization, and cutting-edge Android technologies will directly influence the direction of our mobile products.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable and high-performance Android applications for a wide range of devices.
- Continuously evaluate new Android frameworks, libraries, and tools, and guide the team in their adoption and integration.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and backend teams to define app features, user flows, and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with ODMs to ensure seamless integration of IoT devices with the application infrastructure.
- Ensure smooth collaboration between global teams, adjusting to different time zones, cultural nuances, and communication styles.
Requirements:
- B.E/M.S/M.Tech in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
- Experience of 5+ years in Android software development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong Coding knowledge with Java, Kotlin, Android Studio.
- Well versed with Object-oriented Analysis & Design, Design Patterns, Data Structures and Algorithms.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Passion for innovation and a drive to create impactful software solutions.
Desired Qualifications:
- Proficiency in English
- Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform or other cross-platform frameworks (e.g., Flutter, React Native).
- Familiarity with architectural patterns beyond Android (e.g., microservices, cloud-based architectures).
- Knowledge of interfacing with Google Cloud Services / Amazon Web services.
- Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and their application in software development.
- Working experience on integration of LLMs/IoT devices to application
