Description and Requirements
• Work with internal & external stake holders to analyze AD, ADAS, IVI related key technologies, including yet not limited to SOC, MCU, communication bus, switches, transceiver, Power IC & key peripherals
• Understand hardware technology trend and support internal technology roadmap building and product definition work
• Work with hardware technology partners to define and design technologies that are needed by Lenovo Vehicle Computing product strategy and roadmap
• Engage with key customers to better understand market needs and better customer satisfaction
• Support internal component engineering and sourcing team to qualify hardware suppliers
• Support hardware design teams on key problem solving
• 6+ years hardware engineering experience in complex electronics product industry, e.g. Server, PC, Smart Phone & Automotive Domain Controller
• Bachelor or above degree in Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, automation, computer science or related majors
• 3+ years Automotive Tier-1 or OEM working experience, and being familiar with latest technology trend of vehicle compute products
• Being an expert in 1 out 5 products from both technical & business perspectives: ADAS/AD domain controller, Infotainment, Gateway, Central Compute, Zonal Controller
• Familiar with main-stream vehicle compute SOCs & MCUs, e.g. Qualcomm, Nvidia, Intel, AMD, NXP, Infineon, Renesas...
• Familiar with key technologies in vehicle compute system, e.g. PCIe, Ethernet, CAN, LIN...
• Demonstrated success record of bringing complex systems from concept to mass production
• Work in a self-motivating way and autonomously find correct direction to solve problems
• High level of oral and written communication skills, both Chinese & English
• High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers, supplier & other stake holders
