Description and Requirements
The Project Manager (DT Project Management Sr. Specialist) will be primarily responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan.
Responsibilities:
Define project scope, objectives and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop project plans and associated communications documents. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner. Plan, schedule and track project timelines, milestones and deliverables using appropriate tools. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths. Direct and manage project development from start to finish. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate team members. Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results and troubleshoot problem areas. Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Proven experience in project management, from conception to delivery. Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management. Strong client-facing and teamwork skills. Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Planner. Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g., Basecamp or Trello). PMP / PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
