Leidos has an exciting opportunity for an experienced XML Developer to support an Intelligence Community (IC) organization in the fast-growing National Security Sector. This position is in Bethesda, MD. Candidates must currently possess a TS/SCI Polygraph security clearance.

Primary responsibilities and tasks may include some or all the following:

  • Develop, implement, update and manage:

    • XSD Schema, Schematron, RelaxNG data specifications for the enterprise
    • Map community directives and Executive Orders directly to implementation for Enterprise use
    • Xspec test cases for the Specifications
    • Documentation in Docbook XML and Office Suite of these Specifications
    • Develop and Maintain Scripts for Jenkins and other DevSecOps environment production of specifications
    • Compliance with Security standards and Integration of tools in a Unix based system
  • Collaborate with Client and community partners to gather and interpret requirements and develop solutions that meet client's technical, schedule and cost constraints
  • Collaborate with other team members on approaches to enhancing back-end production processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with Poly
  • BS degree and 12 - 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 - 13 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, ability to consistently provide high-quality products that are concise, thorough, and accurate.
  • Ability to adapt in response to shifts in customer priorities.
  • Experience in XML stack, XSLT, XPATH, Schematron.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Ten or more years working in the IC
  • Knowledge and experience working with IC policies, directives and standards
  • MS Azure cloud technology experience
  • Experience with Oxygen XML and other XML IDEs
  • Understanding of the JESC and CMSTT process

Pay Range:

Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
