Program Overview:
The Montre Program is seeking an experienced Windows Systems Administrator to manage and optimize our diverse IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience with Microsoft Windows Server (2016-2022) administration, VMWare, Citrix Virtual Hosting, Active Directory Services, VDI, and NetApp Storage Solutions. This position requires an individual who thrives in a collaborative team environment, can adapt to complex customer needs, and demonstrates strong problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
Position Summary:
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of various virtual environments, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability. You will play a central role in implementing IT solutions in a dynamic, always-on environment. Adaptability and the ability to think creatively are essential to meet evolving customer requirements. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary to collaborate effectively across teams. The candidate must be capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Primary Responsibilities:
- System Configuration & Management: Configure, deploy, and maintain Microsoft-based servers, databases, workstations, VMware instances, and Linux server environments.
- Active Directory & Group Policy: Administer and maintain Windows Active Directory, implement Group Policy, and manage patching and scanning using tools like WSUS, SCCM, PDQ Deploy, and Rapid7.
- Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI): Deploy and manage Citrix Virtual Desktops environments based on Windows and Server OS.
- Operational Technology Deployment: Implement and manage new IT technologies within a constantly evolving, operational environment.
- Monitoring & Auditing: Configure and maintain auditing and monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Splunk, AD Audit) to ensure system security and reliability.
- Tier 2/3 Support: Provide Tier 2/3 support for the Windows environment from a System Administrator perspective during core hours 8:00 AM-4:00 PM Mon-Friday, troubleshooting and resolving complex system issues.
- Enterprise Application Support: Provide support for essential enterprise applications like MS Exchange and MS SQL Server.
Basic Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with at least 6 years of experience. Work experience can be used/combined with education.
- Security Clearance: Must possess a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph to be considered for this role.
- Hardware: Experience with HP Proliant, Cisco, Taclane KG-175F, and Dell Servers.
- Operating Systems: Familiarity with Windows, CentOS Linux, and RedHat operating systems.
- Storage Solutions: Familiarity with NetApp, CommVault, and Backup Exec.
- Software & Tools: Experience with SQL Server, VMware vCenter, Citrix, Trellix/Move, MS Exchange, and PDQ Deploy.
- Network & Security Protocols: In-depth knowledge of DHCP, DNS, FTP, HTTP, SMTP, SNMP, SSH, TCP/IP, LDAP, SCP, and security protocols like SafeNet (Cypher Trust), NMAP, , HP WebInspect, and Nessus.
- Monitoring & Security Tools: Experience in using SolarWinds SEM, Splunk, and AD Audit for auditing and security event management.
- Network Security & Vulnerability Assessment: Familiarity with A&A Processes, Rapid7 Risk Management Framework, WSUS, PKI, SSP, Vulnerability Assessment and remediation and Security Protocols.
- Hypervisors: Expertise with VMware ESXi for managing virtualization infrastructure.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
