Description

The Leidos NISC IV program has an opening for a WebOPSS Template Developer to provide support to the FAA in the development of provided templates as directed in accordance with applicable Flight Standards (AFS) Quality Management System (QMS) processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The Contractor will perform the following technical services.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create, update, and archive Web-based Operations Safety System (WebOPSS) document templates in accordance with regulatory document standards.
  • Document template types include but are not limited to, operation specification (OpSpec), training specifications (TSpec), management specifications (MSpec), letters of authorization (LOA), waivers, and authorizations for the operating rules as defined in the Code of Federal Regulations.
  • Work with Aviation Safety (AVS) policy subject matter experts (SME) to develop template content and to integrate data collection controls into WebOPSS.
  • Review and comment on authorizing documents related to policy and guidance produced by AVS SMEs.
  • Maintain and improve tracking methods for managing the template development workload.
  • Perform data and trend analysis resulting from implemented data collection mechanisms.
  • Provide application testing and recommendations for improved functionality related to WebOPSS template development and authorizing document issuance tools.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical, computer software or business field and 2 to 4 years' relevant work experience. However, additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Knowledge of web-based applications, databases, and Client/Server environments.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust interim clearance.
  • Microsoft Office 365 and Teams knowledge.

Must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. To qualified for FAA Public Trust you must be a US Citizen or a Green Card Holder who has resided in the US for the past 3 years.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of SQL or other query languages
  • Experience creating or editing HTML
  • Familiar with technical writing methods and techniques
  • Exposure to WebOPSS and/or Safety Assurance System (SAS)

Pay Range:

Pay Range $67,600.00 - $122,200.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
