The Leidos National Security Sector is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to join our team at our Chesapeake, VA office in supporting the Integrated Logistics Center program which provides logistics, and engineering services to help ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of parts and material for the US Navy's AN/SQQ-89 Sonar system.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a correct inventory of material within the Warehouse Management System.
  • Receiving, identifying material and recordkeeping functions associated with the receipt of materials
  • Shipping, packing and recordkeeping functions associated with the shipment of materials both commercially and via the Government Transportation System.
  • Load, unload, and move to stowage, freight and piece parts, both manually or with equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Breakdown of major equipment to smaller units via the use of hand tools or power tools as required

Basic Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance required to start
  • Understanding of US Navy/DOD supply system(s), how they work and required documentation
  • Working knowledge of computers, printers, laptops, and common Windows applications.
  • Working knowledge of common small portable electronic equipment (scanners, voltage testers, etc), hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to manually lift packages up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

  • DPAS Certification in Warehouse Management module
  • Forklift operator
  • Knowledge HAZMAT shipping/storage regulations
  • Past experience as a US Navy Sonar Technician (STG) or Logistics Specialist (LS)

Pay Range:

Pay Range $30,550.00 - $55,225.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
