The Multi-domain Solutions Division (MDS) within the Leidos National Security Sector is seeking a skilled Vendor Manager to join a new cyber security program and play a key role in supporting government-critical systems. You will be part of a program that oversees development, integration, delivery, and operations and maintenance of IT managed security services, which encompasses support to monitor the cybersecurity threat and security posture situational awareness for the enterprise. This opportunity is in anticipation of a future contract award!

What you'll be doing:

  • Work with the Program Management Office (PMO) to establish vision and direction for customer's cyber resources and operations, cyber workforce planning and then working with vendor relationships to build a cohesive working environment for ultimate cybersecurity success for these critical systems.
  • Provide vendor management and leadership direction for the program.
  • Coordinate all vendor operations of the program within cost limitations and schedule, including staffing, procurements, logistics, deliverables, cost accounting and reporting, and support activities.
  • Establish milestones and monitor vendors adherence to program master plans and schedules and/or costs.
  • Ensure the program objectives and contract commitments are met.
  • Ensures contact performance aligns with program schedules, costs and SLAs.
  • Responsible for accurate measuring progress of vendor SLAs.
  • Present briefings to organizational and group management as well as customer representatives on significant program issues.
  • Identify program problems and present solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.

What does Leidos need from me?

  • Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) with Polygraph security clearance required. Must be U.S. Citizen.
  • Bachelor's degree with four plus years of relevant experience. Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Understanding of unique Intelligence Community (IC) environments and mission.
  • Management of vendors, subcontractors.
  • Experience with IT O&M contracts.
  • Ability to work in a fast-pace, collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and people skills wit both technical and non-technical people are essential to the success of this position.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.

Favorable if you have:

  • Knowledge of FAR/DFAR standards for government purchasing.
  • Familiarity with national systems missions and concepts.
  • Continuous service improvement or process improvement experience.
  • Prior experience supporting a federal customer program or projects, especially DOD or DHS.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
