The National Security Sector (NSS) is hiring for a Training Auditor and Certification Authority, Journeyman to provide program support onsite at our customer. This opportunity is in anticipation of a contract award that is expected this month!

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop tests and visual aids, conduct training classes, and develop criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities for certifying students as OSINT Analysts.
  • Formulate teaching outline in conformance with selected instructional methods, utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness of such training methods as individual coaching, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops.
  • Keep abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques.
  • Develop in-house programs and practices to identify developmental needs, including preparing personnel for more responsible positions and increasing effectiveness in present assignments.
  • May evaluate and/or oversee contractors or vendors to develop and/or administer training programs.
  • Responsible for development of e-learning programs.
  • Confer with management, employees and clients to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives and technologies.
  • Formulate teaching outline and determines instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings and workshops.
  • Select or develops teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works.
  • Facilitate the execution of all training programs.
  • Monitor training costs to ensure budget is not exceeded, and prepares budget reports to justify expenditures.

What does Leidos need from me?

  • Active DoD Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance required.
  • Three plus years of demonstrated experience with a BA/BS degree OR four plus years of experience with an AS degree or five plus years of experience with a high school diploma.
  • Background and experience in developing and certifying job qualification standards; evaluation/certification program development; creating in-house training materials; military training and training support operations; training records management; ATARS.
  • Experienced in developing and maintaining budget reports.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $61,750.00 - $111,625.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
