Description

Leidos Dynetics is seeking a Threat Systems Development Branch Manager to join a talented team of engineers and scientists within the RF & Intelligence Solutions Department. The department's goals include comprehending, exploiting, and evaluating foreign threats. The department performs radio frequency (RF) design, custom hardware builds, algorithm development, and analysis across a variety of both research and development and operational tasks. The candidate selected for this position will support projects for the DoD, Intelligence Community, and other Prime contractors.

Primary Responsibilities

An experienced individual to provide leadership to a multidisciplinary engineering team to address diverse modeling, simulation, and analysis (MS&A) challenges for members of the intelligence community and their partners. This role will require oversight for activities including threat weapon system MS&A, characterization, analytical tool development, model and simulation operations and maintenance, verification and validation testing, and configuration management. This position involves a high level of coordination with government customers, managing tasks both technically and programmatically, performing business development, generating proposals, managing personnel, interviewing candidates, performing performance reviews, and resolving personnel issues.

Basic Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or a business degree from an ABET accredited institute and 8 years of relevant work history is needed. If candidate has a Master's in a related field and 6 years of relevant work history is needed.
  • Candidate must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills including demonstrated ability to manage risk while gaining confidence of customers, technical staff, managers, and peers.
  • Candidate must have experience with formal line management responsibilities to include employee tasking, time charging oversight, performance assessment, and performance recognition.
  • Candidate must have strong leadership credentials, good organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong technical background
  • Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
  • US Citizenship required and active secret clearance with eligibility to obtain/maintain TS/SCI.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
