The National Security Sector (NSS) has a new and exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Test Engineer in our Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA). Our talented team is at the forefront in Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations (CNO), Mission Software, Analytical Methods and Modeling, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and Cryptographic Key Management. You will support a cutting-edge Cyber Program, providing IT user support, IT security, IT services, and developer support for mobile device analysis, collection, and exploitation engineering services to the Federal Agency. This Key Personnel opportunity is in anticipation of an upcoming contract award!

What you'll be doing:

  • Support an Agile software integration team in analyzing, designing, building, testing, and support high quality products.
  • Review requirements from customers, design test plans, write test cases, oversee test strategies and perform and coordinate testing for assigned systems. Testing will include functional and non-functional, integration & regression testing.
  • Verify defects, as well as submit and maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modifications of product software, analyzes test results to certify existing functionality and integration, and recommends corrective action upon failures.

What does Leidos need from me?

  • Current Top Secret security clearance, SCI eligibility, and able to pass a Polygraph and an FBI full scope field background investigation.
  • Minimum four plus years of software and hardware testing experience.
  • Experience in the development and implementation of agile and repeatable processes to verify releases meet quality standards before launch.
  • Experience in Acceptance Testing and how it applies to Agile Testing.
  • Experience testing/assessing raw research product to determine reliability and development path to releasability.
  • Experience analyzing technical requirements for validity, feasibility and technical soundness and decompose them to extract positive and negative test scenarios and strong acceptance criteria.
  • Experience designing functional and non-functional test cases that verify requirements and validate functionality.
  • Ability to conceive and develop clear and concise test cases.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
