The Leidos Commercial and International (C&I) Sector Office of Technology (OOT) has an opening for a Principal Integration Engineer that can function in multiple roles across the Sector OOT. Primarily this role will serve as the US Technical Lead for a trilateral Internal Research and Development program building and marketing secure-on-commercial-cloud solutions, but the role also provides the opportunity to contribute as a technical management SME and participate in customer engagement for the C&I OOT. The ideal candidate is a Jack-of-all-Trades.
The C&I OOT drives Leidos' technology-based differentiation in the Commercial and International market segments. We provide discriminating technologies, reusable solutions for captures and programs, scalable solutions and enterprise resources, technical thought leadership, strategic plans, and more, to the $2B C&I Sector of Leidos. The C&I OOT develops solutions in a variety of way: Internal Research & Development (IRAD), Collaborative R&D Agreements (CRADA), strategic vendor partnerships, and harvesting of innovative solutions from existing programs and the Leidos CIO office. These differentiated solutions provide value in our customers' environments that require massive scale, global reach, heterogeneity, mission criticality, resiliency, and security.

Primary Responsibilities
• Lead and manage work of global technical staff that has significant impact on project results/outputs, as well as resolves highly complex problems using significant application of technical knowledge, conceptualizing, reasoning and interpretation
• Continually evaluate and apply best practices to facilitate continuous improvement that can be applied across teams
• Influence the development of solutions that impact strategic project/program goals and business results, as well as recommend and develop new technical solutions, products, and/or standards in support of corporate strategy and operations
• Plan, coordinate, and direct the administrative, program control, and technical personnel involved in providing services in fulfillment of the contract.
• Provide guidance and subject matter expertise for concept designs, development, test, deployment, and sustainment.
• Provide technical leadership to support technical planning, integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness for total software systems.
• Manage and control schedules and cost to provide on time, within budget, performance of all aspects of the contractual effort
• Provide direction for operations and ensure compliance with all management policies, plans, and procedures
• Provide recommendations for resolution of technical problems; and provide management oversight to assigned program personnel, both Leidos and subcontractors, ensuring the highest quality of task completion and deliverables in accordance with the contract.
• Must at all times be a role model to subordinate employees, be a workforce motivator, and be a provider of constructive criticism.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in business or engineering, and 10+ years of functional experience managing and controlling cost, schedule, and performance of at least one major project or program.
• Have knowledge and experience with program management plans, policies, standards, and methods.
• Candidate must have strong communication and interpersonal skills and proven ability to interface with multifaceted customer set.
• Willing to travel up to 25% to support operational requirements.
• Must possess an active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance to be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
• Ability to drive development of enterprise solutions as well as manage a diverse portfolio of investments related to cloud, security, and end user service delivery
• Effective at communicating with senior management including executive leaders and Board members.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong public speaking skills
• Ability to influence and persuade others, and build consensus
• Ability to identify, mentor, lead, manage, and promote talent

Pay Range:
Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00
