The Leidos Digital Modernization sector has a career opportunity for a Systems Administrator supporting the AFNCR IT Services program at Joint Base Andrews.

The AFNCR IT Services program provides support services for information systems for Headquarters Air Force (HAF), Air Force District of Washington (AFDW), Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Chiefs of Staff, and other Air Force activities within the AFNCR missions to include the Pentagon, Joint Base Andrews (JBA), Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB), and other locations, leased spaces, and alternate sites. The major support areas are IT Operations and Maintenance; Plans, Projects, and Engineering (PP&E). The senior directors and national defense missions that are supported require that the AFNCR operations never fail, resulting in a fast-paced, stimulating, but also rewarding environment.

Job Summary:
Leidos is seeking a System Administrator with exceptional troubleshooting, decision-making, and communication skills to provide customer-focused support for Xerox print services in a Windows environment. Successful candidates will have extensive experience administering Xerox Device Managers (XDM), print servers printing to Xerox devices, and with Xerox Workplace Suite (XWS), as well as asset management of Xerox devices, and proficiency in administering Xerox fleet configuration and asset management of Xerox devices.

The Challenge:

  • Discovery, detection, and asset management of all devices on Non-Classified and Classified networks within your purview.
  • Engineering and maintenance of methods for asset management of same devices.
  • Migration of print queues to new print servers.
  • Reporting on device usage and connectivity.
  • Monitoring and reporting of security status and vulnerabilities of devices.

What sets you apart:

  • Requires Bachelors degree and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2+ years of prior relevant experience, additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Knowledge of Windows server 2016 and beyond.
  • Read, run, and understand output from PowerShell scripts
  • Extensive software installation experience.
  • Proficient in Active Directory and Remote Desktop.
  • Familiarity with NIPR/SIPR environment.
  • Network administration background with VLAN experience.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
