The National Security Sector at Leidos has an opening for a System Administrator with an interest in Cyber engineering support to work in our Ridgecrest, CA office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your computing, technical and leadership skills to support the Navy's Aircrew Electronic Warfare Tactical Training Ranges (AEWTTR) mission. In this mission we provide engineering support for design, modification, and maintenance of ground radar and associated devices for the Navy's aircrew Electronic Warfare (EW) training capability. Our organization designs, manufactures, integrates, and provides depot level support for a wide variety of EW threat simulation systems that are part of the training infrastructure that ensures our Navy aircrews are the most effective in the world.

This position will be based in Ridgecrest, California requiring approximately 15% travel. Estimated travel is between one and two weeks at a time approximately 5 times a year to geographically disperse sites associated with the Aircrew Electronic Warfare Tactical Training Ranges (AEWTTR). These training ranges are located primarily located at Cherry Point, NC, Fallon, NV, Yuma, AZ and Pacific Beach, WA.

Responsibilities - Work you'll do:
- Support the Program Manager, Project Manager, Engineering Manager, Chief Engineer and Cyber-Security team lead with maintaining a positive organizational climate with the highest professional and ethical standards.
- Support the Cyber-Security team lead with planning, execution, and management of Cyber / System Administrative related priorities.
- Support the Cyber-Security team lead with oversight of all System Administrative related tasks and their associated delivery timeline.
- Encourage process improvement and innovation.
- Works closely with range ISSOs to ensure the proper application of all appropriate security measures.
- Scans systems and servers for vulnerabilities.
- Assist with creating vulnerability reports as well as assist with the building and deploying Windows 10 & 11 systems and Ubuntu systems.
- Applies STIGS to deployed systems.
- Generates IAVM reports.
- Works with Engineers and Software Developers to ensure the proper application of security requirements.
- Troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
- Supports engineering design, development, direction, and implementation of Cyber Security and IT solutions.
- Ensures that all Security Authorization documentation as required by the customer and in accordance with applicable Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages, is up to date.
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 or more year/s of prior relevant experience.
- Position requires one or more of the following certifications; CCNA, CISSP or SEC+
- Working knowledge of Tenable, Nessus, ACAS, SCAP and other Vulnerability management tools
- Working knowledge of IT standards and cyber security.
- Experience with Authority to Operate (ATO) process, continuous monitoring, POA&Ms, Security Authorizations (SA), NIST 800-37, NIST 800-53 versions.
- The candidate must possess strong communications skills, both verbal and written
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Proficiency with standard computer operations and Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, etc).
- Experience with the Aircrew Electronic Warfare Tactical Training Ranges (AEWTTR) contract and products.
- Experience related to System Administrative functions.
Clearance Required:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $39,650.00 - $71,675.00
