The Homeland & Force Protection Business Area is hiring a Strategic Solutions Architect to lead growth opportunities as a technical leader with Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Cyber and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). This position will be responsible for developing solutions and leading the overall strategy for large capture efforts and customers engagements. This position is expected to maintain and develop relationships inside DHS and CISA by bringing expertise and thoughtfully curated solutions for the customers most vexing challenges.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with the program teams, Business Area leadership, and CTO organization to identify technology and solution roadmaps to improve mission enterprise capabilities and broaden Leidos contributions in technical leadership resulting in increased contract growth and improved customer satisfaction.

• Curate Leidos best practices, lessons learned, and technological approaches for customer challenges such as IT modernization capabilities including Agile, SecDevOps, Software Development, Network Services, Cyber Security, Cloud Services, and other modern technologies.
• Participate and propose R&D and solution development efforts related to IT automation, AI/ML/RPA, and other modernization technologies.
• Work in partnership with Business Development staff to understand and participate in the development of new business strategy assessing current and future skills and technology needs of your assigned program and area.
• Partner with the Business Development team in supporting the shaping and development of technical solutions and industry relationships via new business reviews, white papers, customer calls, and the Win Plan process for larger franchise opportunities.
• Work with peer Business Area teams, Business Areas CTO, and other Leidos Sectors to understand where Leidos can leverage technical solutions on current programs and new business pursuits.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Batchelor's degree with 15+ years of experience of relevant experience. Strongly prefer a graduate degree in technical area.
• Strong Technical breadth and depth in support of the government contracts and in government mission software development and operations as well as IT services design, implementation, operations, and modernization.
• Experienced professional in contract performance with demonstrated technical lead and customer relationship building in the performance and growth of contracts. Capable of generating on-contract-growth through insertion of innovation and technology on existing programs.
• Proven industry relationships with leading capabilities providers to enhance our solutions offerings and close gaps in offerings yielding competitive technical solutions.
• Experienced solution architect, sales engineer, and/or technical volume lead on captures and proposals.
• Person must be able to work in collaboration across the corporation and with other internal CTOs leveraging contacts to obtain in-house skills when available and provide rotational opportunities for key technical resources to continue technology exchange and enhancements.
PREFFERED QUALFICATIONS:
• Clearances (TS or DHS)
• CISA, DHS, USCYBERCOM experience
• IT Technology (Cloud architecture, SaaS/PaaS platforms, SecDevOps, and/or Agile)
• Industry Certifications (ITIL, CISSP, Cloud Certifications)

Pay Range:
Pay Range $148,850.00 - $269,075.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
