Leidos has an immediate opening for a Senior Solution Architect to join our Mission Solutions team in Chantilly, VA.

In this role, you will help customers solve their more demanding challenges via technology, modernization, and transformation processes, and proven methods and solutions. As a Solution Architect, you will work with business development and other subject matter experts to develop optimal and differentiated

Leidos solutions to be delivered on programs, in proposals, or on research and development projects. In addition to developing solutions, you will help prospective customers and partners understand the value and benefits of the Leidos solution, explain technical features and transformation strategies, engage in proof of concepts, and troubleshoot potential problems.
This position will be responsible for developing technologies and solutions for proposals and leading the overall solutioning and strategy for large capture efforts and customers. The position will report to the CTO for the Mission Solutions Business Area.

Primary Responsibilities
• Work with the program teams, Business Area leadership, and CTO organization to identify technology and solution roadmaps to improve mission enterprise capabilities and broaden Leidos contributions in technical leadership resulting in increased contract growth and improved customer satisfaction.
• As part of a creative, forward-thinking team, you will help shape technical solutions related to IT automation, AI/ML Cyber, Ubiquitous Technology, data intelligence, resiliency, and other exquisite technologies and drive insertions of technology into projects/proposals
• Leverage Technical expertise to help drive technology innovation proposed solutions, R&D, and into customer mission space.
• Enhance Leidos best practices, lessons learned, and technological approaches to research, design, and develop innovative solutions to support operational missions
• Partner with the Business Development team to support new business strategies, including the development of technical solutions, basis of estimates, white papers, industry relationships, and responses to RFIs and RFPs
• Support the Business Development team with customer calls and the Leidos' corporate business development process for larger opportunities
• Strengthen existing programs with application of technology and/or innovation by working with peer Operations teams, Group CTOs, and other Leidos Groups, and by leveraging known technology and solutions on current programs and new business
• Lead, assess, and mentor the technical talent and solution architects in the organization to meet the current and future (new market) business

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of experience of relevant experience in computer science, engineering, data science, or other STEM discipline. Additional years of relevant experience will be considered.
• Experience as a technical leader on government contracts.
• Awareness of leading technology capability providers that enhance our technical solutions
• Experience as a solution architect and/or technical volume lead on captures and proposals
• Experience articulating complex technical concepts to customers, business development, program delivery, technical teams, and executives, both orally and in writing
• US citizen with an active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance

Preferred Qualifications
• Record of generating business growth through insertion of innovation and technology on existing programs
• Technical understanding of methodologies in and experience working with technologies in areas spanning across Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning, communications, signals intelligence, cloud and IT infrastructure.
• Experience in cybersecurity processes operational environments to include areas of cyber network defense, vulnerability research, threat analysis, threat hunting, systems security architecture and design.
• Prior experience as lead SA on a proposal
• Experience having worked successful partnerships with suppliers on proposals
• Understanding of competitor/teammate technology offerings
• Record of attracting and retaining technical professionals

Pay Range:

Pay Range $148,850.00 - $269,075.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
