Description
Leidos P963 is seeking a motivated senior currently enrolled in a technical program to work as a Full-stack software development intern, starting in the Fall of 2024. The intern will support our Data Engineering team. In this role, you will collaborate with other developers to develop and maintain web applications using modern front-end frameworks such as React, integrating NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Firebase with both front and back ends, and writing clean, maintainable code following industry best practices. Additionally, you will utilize Python for data processing, API integrations, or backend automation tasks.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using React and similar front-end frameworks.
- Work with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Firebase) and integrate them with both front and back ends.
- Write clean, maintainable, and modular code adhering to industry best practices.
- Use Python for data processing, API integrations, or backend automation tasks.
- Collaborate with the team to build out full-stack applications.

Basic Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a technical degree program with a graduation date in early 2025.
- Experience with React, Vue.js, or similar front-end frameworks.
- Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
- Exposure to NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Firebase.
- Familiarity with Python for backend or data-related tasks.
- Experience working with version control systems like Git.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Security clearance.
- US Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with mapping libraries (e.g., Leaflet, Mapbox, Google Maps API) to integrate geospatial features.
- Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs using Spring (Java) or Python frameworks such as Flask or Django.
- Active Top Secret Security clearance with SCI eligibility

Pay Range:
Pay Range $44,850.00 - $81,075.00
