Software-Asset Coordinator
Leidos has a challenging and exciting opportunity for a self-motivated Software-Asset Coordinator to join a high performing Agile team using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology. The program provides system engineering, development, test, integration, and operational support to a large, fast-paced program, and is infusing new technology and adding advanced capabilities while continuing to support an on-going operational system.
Job Summary / Primary Responsibilities
The selected individual will support a large, complex hardware/software system consisting of multiple geographically distributed systems and diverse configurations within a multifaceted network environment. The selected individual will work closely with Infrastructure Teams, System Test, System Administration, and Network Engineers, Integration Engineers, and Software Engineers, and will be responsible for the following:

- Software control, tracking, and management.
- Government Software purchasing.
- Research and maintenance of software license information.
- Managing software assets for control and distribution to teams across the program.
- Software data transfer/software file transfer.
- Downloading software, licenses, and/or patches.
- Researching software and hardware data (i.e. maintenance documents, End of Life, Software sites for documents and downloads, etc.).
- Researching End-of-life support/End of Sale.
- Creating and maintaining detailed documentation for large-scale software and data tracking.
- Assisting with Configuration Management/collaboration tool administration.
- Facilitating continuous process improvement throughout the HS/SW/Data management systems and protocols.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field and at least 8 years of relevant experience. Additional relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.
- Must have at least 5 years of software-related experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in several of the following areas:
- Working with/deploying software packages.
- Working with and downloading software licenses.
- Working with software downloads.
- Working with software updates/patches.
- Working on a software help desk.
- Fielding requests for software licenses.
- Deploying software keys.
- Collecting and updating software information including software contact information.
- Must have experience with processes related to receiving various licenses, including free and open source, company purchased, and/or government licenses and keys.
- Must have knowledge of licensing terms and conditions.
- Must be familiar with principles and approaches of Software/Asset Management, and leading software vendors such as Microsoft, Micro Focus, VMware, Adobe, etc.
- Must have experience working with internal stakeholders and external vendors with direct and/or indirect relationships.
- Must be detail-oriented and have strong research and organizational skills.
- Must be able to manage time-sensitive tasking.
- Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to work successfully both independently and within a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Hands-on System Administration/help desk experience focused on software maintenance.
- Extensive, formal Quality Assurance, Configuration Management, and/or Audit experience on a large technical system.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $80,600.00 - $145,700.00
