Leidos Dynetics is seeking a talented Sheet Metal Brake Press Operator to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. Primary Responsibilities
Leidos is seeking qualified candidate to operate a CNC Press Brake to produce precision sheet metal assembles from a variety of engineering materials. Make shop aids as required when tooling is not available to fabricate production parts. Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints and technical instructions. Must be able to setup and operate Shear, CNC Press Brake, Saw, and associated sheet metal equipment. Must understand and calculate bend deductions and allowances. Applicant must be able to inspect and verify parts by using precision gages including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators etc. Applicant must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Candidate must be able to follow written and verbal work instructions. Must be able to perform other duties as required to include assembly of mechanical aerospace hardware. Employee is expected to follow all safety regulations, keep work area in a clean and orderly condition, and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required for the assigned work area(s). Performs safety related duties as assigned.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Collaboration with the weld, fabrication, assembly, and integration teams.
- Perform duties to meeting customers demand dates.
- Identifying and resolving manufacturing issues as they arise.
Basic Qualifications
- Candidates must possess a High School diploma/GED and have at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Candidate must have demonstrated the ability to follow work instruction.
- Candidate must have demonstrated experience reading and interpreting drawings/documents such as operating instructions, and procedures.
- Candidate must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.
- Candidate must be capable of performing in a collaborative manufacturing environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
- Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess or meet the eligibility requirements to obtain (and maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference shown to candidates who have experience working with sheet metal forming parts in a manufacturing environment.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $44,850.00 - $81,075.00
