Job Summary
The Services Watch Officer will enable Command and Control (C2) of the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) by ensuring its overall health through 24/7 monitoring, directing, controlling, coordination, de-conflicting, synchronizing, and reporting the current status of DISA Application and End Point Systems availability, as well as Senior VIP operational impact tickets, while supporting the DISA Joint Operations Center (DJOC), DJOC Battle Captains, and DISA Current Operations senior leaders.

The candidate will support GSMO Task Order 13.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide situational awareness (SA) of DISN hosted, cloud, and endpoint services. This includes providing situational understanding of the DISA provided or hosted services, whether cloud-based or endpoint and support to same activities.
- Maintain and provide timely situational awareness, reasons for outage (RFO) and restoral effort POA&Ms for reportable incidents that are in turn escalated by the DJOC Battle Captain within 15 minutes. This is an essential task which informs and supports decision making by DISA Senior Leadership.
- Review and monitor designated dashboards and incident management tools for proactive incident validation and reporting.
- Coordinate with DISA NetOps elements, mission partners, CCMDs, MILDEP, and DAFA as required.
- Provide an in-depth knowledge and understanding of Operational Reporting and Incident and Change Management for essential applications and services.
- Execute in real time, in accordance with mission requirements:
- Tracking of current outages that will impact the DODIN. Tracking of upcoming and current Change Management tickets
- Provide timely reporting for all reportable outages through published reports that go up through the DJOC Battle Captain to the DISA Director and other Senior Leaders.
- This position is a shift work position and could require you to workday shift, Afternoons, or Overnight, as well as potentially weekends and/or holidays.
- The position is also an active participant in the Contingency Support and the Emergency Readiness Group (ERG) and employees are considered emergency personnel who will perform duty functions at customer off-site facilities within the DC Metro area.
Basic Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline and 6+ years of overall related experience. 4+ years of additional related years of experience is accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with various Microsoft technologies such as MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and SharePoint
- Experience with system applications:
- Global Ticket Management System (GTMS) Remedy
- Worldwide Online System (WWOLS), NCCM-R, or Telecommunications Certification Office Support System (TCOSS)
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- The individual needs to be flexible, dependable and be able to multi-task with priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently possess DoD 8750 certification at IAT level II, Security+ CE.
- ITIL V3 or V4
- Experience briefing Senior Leaders
- Demonstrated experience of providing excellent customer service

Pay Range:
Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
