Description

The Multi-Domain Solutions Division at Leidos currently has an opening for Integration and Test Engineers to work in our Reston or Alexandria, VA office or out of Bedford, MA. Ability to work in Northern Virginia is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities

  • The Test Engineering team will be responsible for enterprise level test requirements development, planning, system hardware-software-network integration, verification, validation and fielding support for network and network systems. This includes defining and specifying the implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of products. This team will work with vendors to evaluate systems, align test requirements, identify test methods for verification and validation of network systems.

High level tasking for this team will include the following:

  • Interface with vendors and facilitate integration into a larger system-of-systems model
  • Identify test methodology to verify and validate systems efficiently to include regression testing, pass/fail, and deficiency remediation
  • Design reviews of solutions and review of vendor validation methods
  • Identifying and track risks for integration and validation
  • Facilitate working groups and information exchange in support of program objectives
  • Informal and formal technical interchanges, and formal reviews for integration and test artifacts and milestones
  • Collaborate with software and hardware subject matter experts to ensure testing is producing expected results
  • Support the development and maintenance of system integration plans and system test plans
  • Working with systems engineering to support interface development
  • Diagnose problems encountered during application integration among products and address fixes/enhancements according to prescribed program processes
  • Document lessons learned and develop and maintain a robust test discipline for the program
  • Build and support a culture grounded in the Leidos values, beliefs and expectations and highest standards of ethical and respectful behavior

Basic Qualifications

  • Must possess a minimum of a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree with and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of test engineering concepts and applying these concepts to Department of Defense programs
  • Demonstrable knowledge in test automation and test result analysis
  • Demonstrable experience in design review participation and providing customer centric input
  • Demonstrable experience in network topologies to validate functionality, performance, stability and scalability of features and products.
  • Proven expertise in creating test methodologies and writing test specifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with customer representatives, domain experts, and other systems engineers in the development of complex DoD systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of system integration activities.
  • Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience
  • Experience in Integration, test, verification, and validation
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile program execution and using agile tools (e.g. Jira and Confluence)
  • Mid-level network understanding - software defined networking a plus
  • Mid-level understanding of government systems security testing (ACAS/Nessus) and remediation - ability to discuss security issues and concerns
  • Demonstrated ability to brief technical and non-technical customers
  • Ability to achieve a high degree of customer satisfaction and maintain Leidos positive brand recognition

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working on ABMS or JADC2 initiatives
  • 10 years of networking routing and switching experience
  • 5 years of Test Plan creation, gathering test requirements and meeting test deliverables
  • 5 years of tracking development and deployment lifecycles
  • Minimum of 4 years of government systems security testing (ACAS/Nessus) and remediation with the ability to discuss security issues and concerns
  • Prior experience with Model Based Testing
  • Prior experience designing and deploying networks
  • Prior experience with SAFe Agile implementation
  • Prior experience support Department of the Air Force programs
  • Previous experience working on complex multi-domain systems
  • Experience with large weapons systems and command and control platforms across the DoD portfolio
  • Experience with design and validation of Cloud and Edge Computing and Network
  • Minimum 5 years of customer engagement both on a technical and non-technical perspective - ability to understand enough to brief through technical discussions and also provide the 20,000 foot view
  • Experience with design and validation of Cloud and Edge Computing and Network

Pay Range:

Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
