Leidos is seeking a Solution Architect/Senior Developer ServiceNow who will be leading team of developers to provide ServiceNow solutions to support and be part of the mission to help SSA's Digital Modernization Strategy. Join one of our high performing teams responsible for building the next-generation enterprise APIs and modern responsive user interfaces, supporting the Social Security Administration (SSA) and their mission to meet the changing needs of the public, positively impacting at least 65 million American lives per month.   • Work with customers to define strategies to best utilize ServiceNow services and capabilities.
  • Develop an agile based workplan and schedule for planning and executing development activities.
  • Lead team of developers for providing work products and solutions to the customers.
  • Ensure work products meet customer requirements and expectations.

FOUNDATION FOR SUCCESS (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelors Degree and 12 years of experience or 16 years of experience in lieu of degree is required.

  • 8+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer - developing ServiceNow solutions across all platform applications, including ITSM, ITOM, Asset Mgt, ITBM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, and HR
  • 5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Solutions Architect.
  • 5+ years of experience with integrating ServiceNow with other applications or data sources.
  • 5+ years of experience in designing and leading complex solutions and integrations.
  • 3+ years of experience leading development teams. Extensive understanding of system architecture and design principles
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with the US Federal Government
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement.

FACTORS TO HELP YOU SHINE (Required Skills)

These skills will help you succeed in this position:

  • Experience with Project Management, requirements management and Agile development practices.
  • ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect or Certified Master Architect preferred.
  • Certification in one or more additional mainline certifications, with preference for the following:

    • CIS - Customer Service Management
    • CIS - IT Service Management
    • CIS - Discovery
    • CIS - Service Mapping
    • CIS - Strategic Portfolio Management

HOW TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD (Desired Skills)

Showcase your knowledge of modern development through the following experience or skills:

  • Experience with Web development, including technologies such as X-HTML, CSS3, SQL, XML, Angular and JavaScript, PHP, .NET, or Java
  • Experience with implementing Java scripting to support automation across the various modules

in ServiceNow

  • Experience with REST and SOAP web service protocols
  • Experience with Business Rules, workflow, Identification Rules, Workspaces and external Portals
  • Knowledge of SAML, Active Directory, or LDAP
  • ServiceNow developer Certification, including ITSM, ITOM, Asset Mgt, ITBM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, TRM/APM or HR Certification
  • Project Management or Agile certification
  • ITILv4 Foundations Certification

Pay Range:

Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
