Leidos is seeking a Senior End- User Support Specialist located in the Camp Springs, MD area to work in a hybrid (in-office and remote) work environment (subject to change) in support of a federal agency. In this role, you will gain many intangible skills, such as time and task management, critical thinking and problem solving, the ability to communicate complicated problems in a concise manner, as well as solve complex problems using available tools.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Reports to Help Desk Supervisor/Senior User Trainer or Application Manager. Assists in setting up and operating end user support program for major applications in support of specific projects.
  • Sets up overall user training programs, particularly for complex applications such as groupware and workflow packages which require active on-going training and support to ensure that they are being used effectively, but also for litigation support and office automation applications.
  • Develops training course outlines and agendas.
  • Establishes training facilities and schedules.
  • May supervise work of teams of user support staff, such as help desk staff. Organizes, prepares, schedules and conducts training sessions.
  • Prepares training approach and materials.
  • Arranges for use of training facilities, for access to appropriate applications, etc.
  • Performs help desk functions - answering and responding to user phone calls, installing and troubleshooting litigation support packages on user desktops, and coordinating support with office automation support contractors and staff.

Basic Qualifications:

  • DoD 8570 IAT Level 1 certification
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field; additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • A minimum of 2+ years of prior or relevant experience troubleshooting computer software and computer hardware and/or peripheral related problems, performing supervisory or team lead duties, working in customer service environment, including knowledge of PC technologies and applications, ITIL and ITSM framework and processes.
  • A minimum of 2+years of experience involving teaching/training users in computer applications, preferably database, imaging, or other automated litigation support applications will generally be expected - at least one year must be experience with the specific applications being supported.
  • Hands-on familiarity with the network, telecommunications, and operating systems environment of the applications being supported.
  • Proficient in Government's word processing, spreadsheet, and email systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Supervisory experience
  • Experience with Government office automation environments
  • A minimum of 1+ years of experience in automated litigation support
  • Certification in eDiscovery program
  • Current Public Trust or higher security clearance

Pay Range:

Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
