The National Security Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Senior Cloud Financial Operations Analyst supporting the SABRE program at Hanscom AFB, MA. This position is on a future contract pending award announcement.

Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and champion cloud infrastructure cost management best practices
- Build analytical models to provide data-driven guidance on cloud infrastructure spend
- Create utilization and forecasting models to predict future outcomes of cloud infrastructure spend and usage
- Create and maintain internal documentation on FinOps and cost optimization processes
- Partner with the agency's finance, procurement, and engineering teams to help measure and manage cloud infrastructure costs
- Leverage public cloud technology tools to drive FinOps practices and methodologies
- Implement continuous monitoring strategies to identify cost anomalies, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities
- Educate stakeholders on cost-aware cloud practices and influence engineering and procurement teams on cost-effective design decisions
- Ensure financial transparency and cost optimization while maintaining operational efficiency within the SABRE program
Clearance Required:
- Active DoD Secret
Required Experience, Skills, and Education:
- BS and 3 or more years of experience working with AWS cloud services
- Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting DoD or other Federal Government environments
- Deep understanding of Cloud Service Provider (CSP) FinOps tools for cloud cost management and optimization
- Experience with relational databases, data extraction, and data analysis tools to support cloud financial operations
- Strong knowledge of Federal Government IT procurement processes and cloud financial governance
- Expertise in industry best practices for cloud resource tagging and enforcement through automation
- Ability to develop and implement cloud cost optimization strategies in multi-cloud environments
- Experience collaborating with finance, procurement, and engineering teams to align cloud spending with mission objectives
- Understanding of DoD cloud security compliance frameworks and cloud financial policies
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education:
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (for cost optimization expertise)
- FinOps Certified Practitioner (Linux Foundation FinOps Foundation)
- Understanding of DoD PPBE (Planning, Programming, Budgeting & Execution) processes
- Experience with USAF cloud cost models and financial reporting requirements

Pay Range:
Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00
