Leidos is seeking a qualified candidate to join our DISA JSP ETM team as the Senior Circuit Engineer. The successful candidate will support an extensive digital modernization program critical to DISA.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Use monitoring tools to provide both reactive and proactive support for the client network and systems infrastructure
  • Follow DoD and JSP processes to install, activate, modify, upgrade, or deactivate ports and circuits, in accordance with government requirements
  • Conduct root-cause analysis on recurring problems and present weekly and monthly findings
  • Keep leadership informed of critical ticket outages, updates, and resolution
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair with help desk
  • Submit tickets for troubleshooting problems with circuits or systems within the customer facilities
  • As needed, escalate for Tier III level support
  • Monitor status of all cable plant, circuits, power plant, network equipment, and systems
  • Review circuit history for accuracy, including verification of diagrams
  • Review and validate Test and Acceptance documentation
  • Perform circuit restoration, fault isolation, and status reporting in accordance with DoD policies and procedures

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of relevant technical experience or a Masters degree with 10+ years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience creating engineering circuit layout diagrams
  • Experience in digital and analogue circuit design and implementation
  • Experience in analysis testing and troubleshooting circuits
  • Experience with help desk support and operation.
  • TS/SCI clearance required
  • Knowledge of IP and optical network operation.
  • Knowledge of DOD network and system security requirements.
  • Knowledge of networking and network-based software applications in a DoD environment.
  • Knowledge of industry accepted standards and best practices related to Information Management Operations and with ITSM best practices.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred:

  • Master's Degree

Pay Range:

Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
