Leidos Dig Mod Health IT division is seeking a Project Manager for a large network services opportunity supporting a Health Agency in Montgomery County, MD. Project managers are responsible for project management standards and processes, governance, monitor and control, reporting and analytics, stakeholder management, identifying training and development needs, managing risk, cost/budget and schedule tracking. Coordination across internal functional groups within the program as well as external vendors and customers will be required.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site support to the health agency in MD.
  • Analyzes current and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems and identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Duties include coordinating with business and technology teams to ascertain system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, execution of user acceptance, and may coordinate testing and system controls.
  • Works to achieve key project/program objectives and deliverables within specified contract SLAs and delivery schedules.
  • Responsible for entire projects spanning multiple technical areas. Manages large projects or processes with moderate impact on the achievement of sub-family results.
  • Develops solutions to complex technical issues and problems that impact multiple area or disciplines.
  • Regularly employs ingenuity and creativity to develop new technical solutions and systems to achieve functional objectives.
  • Communicates with Customers, vendors and internal team members across multiple areas and client team members. Works as a bridge amongst engineers and SMEs and the Customer to delivery holistic solutions.
  • Support the creation and delivery of SLA definition, analysis and reporting
  • Support the development and delivery of contract deliverable documentation, reports, plans and analysis
  • Analyzes and maps the risks, issues with opportunities and proposes mitigation solutions.
  • Develop training plans, SOPs, knowledge articles relevant to group technical focus areas

Basic Qualifications

  • BS degree and 12-15 years of relevant experience or Masters 10-13 years relevant experience.
  • Guiding others through transformation processes; this includes identifying stakeholders, assessing the impact, providing relevant information at the appropriate cadence, and monitoring implementation. Requires expert knowledge of and ability to apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts.
  • Planning and executing projects by ensuring resources are coordinated effectively to reach objectives.
  • Experience evaluating business needs and requirements to identify appropriate solutions.
  • Experience overseeing complex projects to ensure proper resource coordination, communication with stakeholders, and progress towards objectives.
  • Experience applying an iterative approach to project or program delivery; this includes adapting to changing requirements, fostering collaboration, and rapidly delivering high quality solutions.
  • Leading and coordinating project execution by defining objectives, creating a plan and timeline, coordinating resources, monitoring progress, and ensuring overall success.
  • Understanding the collection, processing, and evaluation of data to generate actionable insights and forecasts for decision making.
  • Demonstrated ability for oral and written communication with the highest levels of management and delivery of required reports in accordance with formal contractual agreements
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including task and change delegation within a network operations environment
  • Strong leadership skills in delivering technical presentations and reports for leadership and customer communication
  • Experience acting as a deputy to an IT departmental manager, assisting with technical strategy, operational execution, and personnel development
  • Experience handling on-call escalation and communication for executive leadership and critical incident management
  • Experience executing process improvement for large scale programs.
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Research, evaluate, and stay current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies including cloud services.
  • Knowledge of supporting formal change management processes using an ITSM platform such as ServiceNow.
  • Hybrid multi-cloud networking experience.
  • Active Agile, ITIL4, Six Sigma, PMP Certifications.
  • Experience working in enterprise scale cloud modernization environments.
  • Multi-cloud cert and experience (i.e. Amazon, Azure).

Pay Range:

Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
