Leidos Digital Modernization team is currently seeking a motivated, career-oriented Project Manager with proven experience to join the JSP Platform Services team in Norfolk, VA to support the DISA JSP customer. As the Project Manager, you will oversee multiple projects and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. You will also develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

This position is 100% onsite at customer site in Norfolk, VA. This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active Secret with Top Secret eligibility to start.
What will you do in this role?
- Develop detailed project schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports; track key project milestones and adjust project plans and/or resources to meet needs of customers in Microsoft project and ProMIS
- Initiate, plan, execute, and control project efforts that utilize technological solutions
- Establish and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high-quality standards, and meet customer expectations
- Develop and execute management plans for time, cost, scope, quality, communications, risk, human resources, procurement and integration
- Translate project requirements into project objectives and tasks
- Report on project progress throughout the project lifecycle or specific phases within the Solutions Delivery Life cycle (SDLC).
- Coordinate the resources necessary to successfully complete the project
- Communicate major milestones and identifies potential project risks; conduct regular status meetings to review project activities; manage prioritization procedures.
- Set and manage client expectations, managing and escalating issues and changes.
- Measure progress toward goals and revises project objectives; documents applying change control procedures.
- Evaluate the impact and risks of changes from multiple perspectives, assign tasks necessary to reduce or eliminate those considerations, determine tentative implementation dates, and track results of the implementation
- Develop methods to measure customer satisfaction; obtain feedback at critical milestones and at project completion to ensure that project efforts meeting customer expectations for time, cost, and result.
- Anticipate and identify tasks required to support change processing including performing change impact analysis, assigning tasks to project team members, verbally communicating complex issues, verifying that tasks are completed, and communicating implementation status.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and project resources to drive key decisions and ensure timely project completion.
Basic Qualifications:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree with 4-8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 2-6 years of relevant experience. Experience in lieu of a degree will be accepted.
- Must be able to follow the PMBOK and ITIL service delivery standards
- Experience in IT industry
- Knowledge of PMI processes, methods and procedures.
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Certifications: PMP (Project Manager Professional) Certification
- Clearance: Active DoD Secret clearance

Pay Range:
Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
