The CIO Services Operational Strategy and Communications (OSC) team is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator Intern to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in translating strategy into actionable tasks and supporting effective internal communications across the organization.
The OSC team, under the CIO Services Director of Operations, is a dynamic team providing support across the CIO Services organization and the DigMod Sector. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to apply new ideas to improve business processes and communications across the organization.
The Project Coordinator Intern will support the Strategy to Action and Strategic Communications teams under OSC to ensure the delivery of timely reports, support coordination of internal communications, and support process improvements efforts. This position may support special projects such as social media management or other culture curator efforts. As a self-starter, this individual should be proactive, take initiative, and follow through to support tasks from start to closure.
This is an exciting, fully remote opportunity to get firsthand experience with important business processes that are critical to our Leidos operations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Organizational, logistical, and project design support and coordination of work and technology strategy.
- Research and analysis of technologies, government policies, opposition capabilities, and market offerings relevant to CIO Services projects.
- Implementation, analysis, and improvement of processes associated with standardized reports,
- technology development, scientific research, product delivery, client interactions, and business development.
- Support strategic actionable tasks from concept to completion.
- Support the team with managing action items, ensuring completion and follow-up with internal CIO Services teams.
- Take ownership of tasks, demonstrate critical thinking, and address challenges proactively.
Basic Qualifications
- Current undergraduate college student with expected graduation date no later than May 2027
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Problem solving and creative thinking skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to take initiative.
- Familiarity with general business software and tools (Adobe Software Suite, Microsoft Office, etc.)
- U.S. citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Evidence of high performance under remote working conditions.
- Working towards an undergraduate degree in engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, mathematics, or other related disciplines
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market trends
- Personal interest in and knowledge of the IT industry and the way it makes the world better.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $46,800.00 - $84,600.00
