  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Provide guidance and support to procurement team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for procurement-related inquiries and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Implement and oversee asset management processes to track and manage hardware inventory.

Basic Qualifications:

  • US Citizen with at least a Top Secret Clearance
  • Bachelors Degree with 12 years of experience or Masters with at least 10 years experience
  • Proven experience in supplier management and contract negotiation.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience with asset management and inventory tracking.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with government contracting and specific familiarity with Air Force Life Cycle Management Center processes.
  • Experience with strategic sourcing and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of market trends and technologies related to hardware procurement.
  • Proficiency in procurement and project management software.
  • Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) or contract management (e.g., CPCM).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
  • Experience in developing and implementing asset management strategies.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or mentorship role within a procurement team.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to drive procurement decisions.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $98,150.00 - $177,425.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
