Description
Leidos Corporate HR Organization is seeking a customer service-oriented Payroll Support Specialist to join our Payroll Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support related to payroll, timesheets, audit requests, status reporting, employee administration, special projects, and other duties as assigned.
This is a hybrid role that requires 2-3 days per week onsite work from Reston - VA.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Reviewing, scanning, and distributing mail for payroll department.
- Assisting employees with paycheck questions
- Providing administrative support to the payroll team including data entry and record maintenance
- Assisting with payroll processing tasks such as reviewing time records and verifying employee information
- Loading correspondence to partner website for garnishment orders, payroll tax, and miscellaneous items
- Maintaining SharePoint site, ensuring documents are organized and
- Special projects / other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- A High School diploma / GED and 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrate ability to grasp new concepts and learn processes
- Ability to work overtime when special projects occur.
- Require working knowledge of payroll concepts
- Deadline oriented and ability to multi-task
Desired Qualifications:
- The ability to complete assignments independently.
- Good written and oral communications skills.
- Must be resourceful to find answers to questions
- Knowledge and application skills of business tools including MS Office
Please note that actual salary for this position is closer to the middle of the posted pay range.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $39,000.00 - $70,500.00
