Description
The Land Systems Group at Leidos currently has an opening for an Ordnance Testing Engineer to work in Huntsville, AL supporting the U.S. Army in collecting data from ordnance tests. Responsibilities include support of ordnance test activities, documentation to define test activities, documentation of post test findings to quantify performance, and test data collection and analysis. Candidate will work with other engineers and technicians to characterize ordnance performance and document findings. Candidate will work with customers on customer site supporting a variety of Army Ordnance Projects. The position requires good communication skills, working well on a team with diverse skillsets, working on fast paced environment, and willingness to take on a variety of duties to help the team be successful.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or other related field.
- Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area
- Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.
- Detail oriented for data collection and documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering would be preferred
- Experience in testing and test documentation would be preferred

Pay Range:
Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00
