Description
Leidos is hiring a Modeling and Simulation Engineer with eligibility for a TS/SCI clearance to support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
Our M&S Engineer will leverage their experience to develop simulations to support intelligence analysis modeling and simulation (M&S) Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) objectives. The engineer will work to design, develop, test, and document simulations related to Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT).
All work is in Dayton, OH.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop PNT simulations incorporating GNSS models.
- Incorporate new algorithms into the simulation as required.
- Analyze simulation results to determine effectiveness in meeting objectives.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in EE, AE, CS or related field and 4+ years of experience in M&S in a related field or a Master's degree with 2+ years of experience in M&S in a related field.
- Active DoD Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for a TS/SCI.
- Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT) engineering experience.
- 3+ yrs C++ experience.
- 2+ yrs Python experience.
- Strong analytical and communication skills and ability to work individually and with teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- MATLAB/Simulink Experience.
- Experience with / understanding of GNSS receiver algorithms.
- Controlled Reception Pattern Antenna (CRPA) experience or knowledge.
- Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), VHSIC Hardware Description Language (VHDL), and Verilog experience.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $81,250.00 - $146,875.00
