Leidos is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with strong expertise in operating systems, network systems, and server hardware to join our Army Global Unified Network (AGUN) team.

You will play a key role in performing the discovery, design, plan, and migration tasks in support of building a world-class network for the Department of the Army. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
General
- Provide systems engineering support to large-scale systems, major system elements, and/or interfacing systems within an on-premises environment. Provide overall system engineering expertise in the architecture, design, development, requirements analysis, data flow, network behavior and testing for the program
- Analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architecture to develop system requirements specifications derived from government requirements and stakeholder needs.
- Provide direction to a team of systems engineers building a system model of the AGUN network using Model Based Systems Engineering practices and tools. Manage the AGUN system model baseline including publication for review by government stakeholders to obtain feedback and adjust.
Strategy, Design & Planning
- Collaborate with team to ensure the integration of design and plan, execution and operations across various technical disciplines. Understand and document business objectives and requirements that drive mission capability. Work with senior team members, decision makers, and stakeholders to define business requirements and systems goals, and to identify and resolve business systems issues.
- Document existing infrastructure configuration, requirements and overall architecture. Work with various stakeholder and the Leidos engineering team to produce high level and detail designs using Cameo. Identify areas for improvement of the system model in support of network simulation.
Test and Verification
- Assist with verification of requirements through requirement traceability to AGUN systems and test plans.
- Manage all aspects of requirements from definition through verification including development and publication of requirements trace matrices (RTM) and requirement verification trace matrix (RVTM)
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years' experience or Master's degree with 6+ years of experience (additional years of directly applicable experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree). Prior experience with MBSE approaches and tools
- Practical, hands-on experience with SysML to document designs, system behavior, and simulation
- Robust experience conducting technical meetings with customers and stakeholders Must be able to work as part of a team to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues through model analysis and understanding of requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. This shall include drafting presentations to key leadership figures.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and procedures. Familiarity with networking technologies.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
