Description

Leidos Intelligence Group has an immediate need for Production Specialist - GEOINT Analyst- Middle to support our customer in St. Louis Missouri.

Staffing Requirement:

Provide geodetic/geodesy support to the customer.

Duties

  • Provide input to revisions of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other documentation related to Gravity Data Processing.
  • Follow established procedures to produce and review mean anomalies.
  • Identify and report on possible discrepancies with gravity data source and/or processing outputs.
  • Plan and execute production based on customer priorities.
  • Assist with developing training material and provide training on gravity data production procedures.

Skills and Experience:

Required

  • Typically requires a BA degree and 4 - 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 - 6 years of prior relevant experience.
  • 3-6 years of demonstrated experience in the application of quantitative data analysis and interpretation.
  • 1-3 years of demonstrated experience in the knowledge of scientific analysis, statistical analysis, or data analytics.
  • 1-3 demonstrated years' experience in the knowledge and application of geology and geophysics concepts.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of scientific systems (Physics, Geophysics, Geology, Geosciences).
  • Basic understanding of the gravitational influence on:
    • Navigation and guidance systems
    • Trajectory modeling
    • Circular Error Product (CEP)

Desired

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Mathematical, Statistical, or Scientific Software: MATLAB, Mathematica, Surfer, Fledermaus, STK, ENVI, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience working in multidisciplinary teams to develop solutions to problems and deliver those solutions.
  • Advanced coursework: Cale 111, Advanced Cale, Linear Algebra, Ordinary Differential Equations, Partial Differential Equations, Signal Processing, Numerical Analysis, Complex Variables, Mathematical Modeling, Geodesy, 300+ level Statistics, Vector Analysis, Numerical Methods, Fourier Analysis, Potential Theory.
  • Basic proficiency in Fortran and/or MATLAB programming language proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, A and C.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
