As a Marketing Communications Manager supporting Leidos' Energy, Infrastructure, and Automation business area, you will support marketing and communications efforts for the entire business area in support of a range of clients, industries, and associated technologies. You will collaborate with a diverse set of colleagues, including engineers and technical staff, managers and people leaders, functional staff, and creative staff.
This role reports directly to the Director of Marketing and Communications.

Location: Ideal candidate would need to be located within commuting distance of Reston, VA, Orlando FL., Charlotte NC.

In this role, you can expect to grow by:
- Participating in strategic marketing and communications initiatives that support the EIA business area
- Leading, managing, or supporting marketing projects for all or a portion of the business area, to include content development, collateral, social media, website, advertising, videos, etc. within a B-2-B environment
- Directing content efforts from concept development to design and production - working cross-functionally with subject matter experts, leadership, and graphic designers
- Supporting internal communications programs and developing internal content to engage, inspire, and retain team members
- Learning technical content development platforms
- Interacting with all levels within the EIA organization as well as Leidos corporate functions
- Serving as backup to the Director of Marketing & Communications
What you will bring to the table:
- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree from an accredited university, with eight plus (8+) years of prior relevant experience in marketing, communications, or related fields
- Proven background in business-to-business marketing
- Knowledge of engineering / energy markets
- Excellent writing skills with ability to translate technical content into easily understandable marketing content
- Demonstrated content creation experience, including writing and editing content on technical topics, web content, marketing materials, and internal communications
- Experience developing content for multiple channels including print, web, social, etc.
- Skilled in integrated communications and marketing strategy with demonstrated history of developing and managing projects in those areas
- Background in the development of digital and social media strategies
- Experience serving as a liaison among many stakeholder groups and achieving consensus among diverse groups
- Self-driven, motivated, and able to operate under minimal direction
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Pay Range:
Pay Range $80,600.00 - $145,700.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
