Description

Leidos is seeking a Manufacturing Systems and Analytics Manager to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. Location for work is Huntsville, Alabama. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Systems and Analytics Manager to lead a small team of data scientists and manufacturing system experts to support manufacturing and drive standardization across five manufacturing sites.

Primary Responsibilities

This position will lead the team that oversees critical manufacturing system implementations, changes, and reporting activities for five manufacturing sites. System support projects will include functional responsibilities for software launches and upgrades, system integration and user acceptance testing, training documentation, user training execution and support. Analytics projects will include designing standardized KPIs, metrics and reports. These projects will enable better data-driven decision making, organizational health and improvement progress visible to many levels within the manufacturing organization.

Basic Qualifications

  • Candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Information Systems, or related field from an accredited university and have at least 8 years manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems, as well as PLM and MES software.
  • Understanding of materials and inventory management practices within a production environment.
  • Must be Microsoft PL-300 certified in Microsoft Power BI or able to obtain certification within 3 months of hire.
  • Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office Products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project and Visio.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to transfer knowledge, train other people, maintain a positive attitude, and work effectively in a diverse team environment
  • Change management experience with excellent problem-solving, continuous improvement mindset
  • Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or MS degree.
  • Experience with Windchill PLM, Costpoint ERP, or Solumina MES is a plus.
  • Lean manufacturing experience with Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience implementing IIoT and Industry 4.0 technology.
  • Experience with SCADA software.
  • Proven track record of process mapping and policy creation to drive standardization that increases throughput, engages the workforce in adopting change, reduces waste, and improves quality.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
