Primary Responsibilities
• Leads Manufacturing Engineering team comprised of Product, Process, Cable, and Test Engineers as well as Data Analytics & MES section
• Oversees equipment utilization and ensures proper machine capacity plan for program execution
• Leads teams of Product & Process Mfg Engineers to determine systematic solutions for new and existing problems
• Candidate will have direct involvement with NPI as well as improving existing product efficiencies and yields
• Collaborate with various cross-functional teams to evaluate product and process designs
• Lead continuous improvements projects
• Head equipment and other capital investment plans to meet capacity and technology requirements
• Oversee budgets for the Manufacturing Engineering team
• Monitor and develop KPI metrics
• Establish and monitor quality objectives of the production process

Basic Qualifications
• Candidate should possess a BA/BS or equivalent with 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience. Generally has 4+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects.
• Must be a US Citizen and possess or meet the eligibility to obtain (and be able to maintain) a Secret Clearance
• Previous experience with electronics manufacturing (PCBA, Cable, Electro-Mechanical)
• Experience with MES software

Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with IPC requirements (J-STD-001, IPC-610, IPC-620)
• Experience with electronics used on launch vehicles, targets, or missile components such as PCBAs, cable harnesses, or electro-mechanical assemblies
• Experience working in a mid to high volume manufacturing environment
• Ability to provide Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates, Basis of Estimate (BOE) documents, and other information to support proposal efforts

Pay Range:

Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
