Description
The hydrodynamic machine learning group at Leidos is looking for a summer intern to support ongoing research efforts in undersea acoustics.
The intern will be involved in signal processing, neural network design and performance evaluation using time series data from a novel sensing modality.
Basic qualifications include:
- Must be enrolled in Bachelor's Degree program at the Junior/Senior level in Physics, Applied Math or Engineering academic tracks.
- machine learning coursework
- strong Py-Torch programming
- experience in designing
- training and evaluating neural networks past or ongoing
- US citizenship is required
- U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
- Signal processing or nonlinear time series analysis experience preferred
- Internship runs from mid-May through the end of August.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $46,800.00 - $84,600.00
