The (IAS) Integrated Aviation Solutions Defense Group of Leidos currently has an opening for a Local Logistician with DIABLO to support the Project Director Sensors-Aerial Intelligence in fielding life cycle services for its portfolio of AISR sensors across multiple intelligence areas such as electro-optical/infrared, signals intelligence, geospatial intelligence and measurement and signature intelligence. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Leidos Integrated Airborne Solutions Division.

What's in it for you?

The Local Logistician is responsible for equipment/material handling, marking requirements, inventory control, disposition efforts, and other tasks as required for management and the customer.

THE CHALLENGE (primary responsibilities)

  • Completion of inventories for all Government Furnished Property (GFP) at Bridgewater Air Park (VBW)
  • Marking requirements, labeling, tagging, placarding, and signage.
  • Coordinating equipment movement around VBW to include oversized and specially handled equipment requiring coordination with outside vendors.
  • Complete equipment movements in the property management database daily.
  • Deliver equipment/materials to locations around VBW or in close proximity as required in response to equipment requests for build efforts, and customer requirements.
  • Develop PCARSS disposition lists, coordinate scrap and asset turn in, complete turn in documentation, and update asset records for equipment.
  • Communicates with internal and client project team members to accomplish tasks.
  • Coordinate with Shipping/Receiving (S/R) to plan and execute Military Aircraft (MILAIR) or commercial freight shipments.
  • Other logistics duties as assigned in response to contractual, mission, or manager requirements.

WHAT SETS YOU APART (basic qualifications)

  • High school diploma or equivalent and 2 - 4 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, including (but not limited to) Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lb regularly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to obtain Secret Clearance.
  • Must be a US Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Army or DoD logistics policies and procedures
  • Experienced material handler; packaging, marking, and load planner.
  • Experience with DLA, PCARSS, and DoD disposition processes/requirements.
  • Prior experience and demonstrated proficiency with asset management using property management systems.
  • Forklift Operator Certification

Pay Range:

Pay Range $38,350.00 - $69,325.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
