Description

The Maritime System Solutions Portfolio within the Maritime Systems Division (MSD) is seeking a dynamic and collaborative Facility Manager to manage the Leidos Lynnwood, WA facility and Service Centers. This position is responsible for the day-to-day facility operations and maintenance of the mixed-use facility. This role includes support in areas that include administrative, budget management, Service Center management, support for environment health and safety needs, maintenance management, space planning and management, and future expansion needs. The Facility Manager will work closely with other departments and the Portfolio Manager to maintain the facility operation, health/safety, and maintain a positive working environment.

This in-office position reports directly to the Portfolio Manager and supervises the Administrative Staff (currently 1x employee). The ideal candidate would be communicative, organized, helpful, financially astute, proactive, and have experience with management of a mixed-use facility (office/manufacturing).

MSD is an industry leader in developing, applying, and advancing the state-of-the-art signal processing technologies for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems including distributed netted sensor systems, communications systems, positioning systems, tactical decision systems, and autonomous unmanned platforms. Leidos maritime systems are addressing complex mission requirements and pioneering impressive firsts in the application of advanced signal processing solutions to the full range of maritime missions.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage and support facility Service Center needs for manufacturing and R&D environment needs.
  • Manage office space assignments, movement of personnel, future space planning and needs, and any future expansion needs
  • Oversee administrative staff
  • Support the corporate Leidos facility management company in the facilities operations including oversight and forethought into the building maintenance, repair, and improvements.
  • Support compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulation.
  • Coordinate and oversee facility related contractors and service providers.
  • Plan and support employee moral events throughout the year.
  • Support coordination of security guard personnel.
  • Support facility during emergency procedures and coordinate with Leidos management, EH&S, and local emergency personnel as necessary.
  • Be responsible for facility budget management in procurement of office supplies, facility needs, and upgrades.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or 2-year degree preferred.
  • 10+ years' total experience with facility management in a mixed-use facility.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • EH&S experience
  • Familiarity with ISO and 5S processes
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented and accuracy in work
  • Leadership and supervisory abilities
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Experience in planning and executing employee moral events
  • Experience with management of facility and project budgets, tracking, reporting, and communicating to senior management
  • Able to obtain Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a technical field
  • General understanding of construction, manufacturing, and/or test and evaluation basics
  • Experience with ISO-9001

Experience in the US Navy programs, contracts, and mission requirements

Pay Range:

Pay Range $63,700.00 - $115,150.00
