We are looking for a Certified Epic Optime/Anesthesia Analyst that is eager to join our team!

This position is primarily remote.

The primary responsibility of the Epic Clinical Analyst is to configure and provide fundamental functional and technical support for business and clinical user's workflows related to Optime/Anesthesia application needs. They will also collaborate with end users to understand the workflow and make corrective adjustments or enhancements. The Epic Clinical analyst will be the central point of communication and will coordinate activities on behalf of Leidos. They will work closely with the system vendors, consultants, other application teams, and technical services of any other affiliate to assist with the workflow analysis, design and build recommendations for corrective actions, and provide resolution of problems within the software applications. In addition, they will also provide support for normal maintenance of upgrades and on-call support and system maintenance. This position requires a current EPIC Optime/Anesthesia Certification.

Successful candidates will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to understand end user workflows and own its technical components. The candidate must demonstrate customer-oriented service excellence principles, be a self-motivated individual who can identify and resolve issues, advance personal knowledge, and be able to execute complex tasks through organization with a details driven approach. They should demonstrated excellent interpersonal communication skills, be a quick learner of software and information technology, and be motivated to learn new applications within the Epic Clinical application space.

Qualifications

  • Epic Certification (and most recent NVT) in Optime/Anesthesia.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience in a HealthCare environment required.
  • Four (4) years relevant experience in a challenging healthcare environment preferred.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for supporting the scope, schedule, and quality of project and maintenance work within their respective team/area.
  • Collaborates and consults with team lead to coordinate activities.
  • Understands the operational issues within their application area well enough to represent user needs.
  • Analyzes workflow decisions and how they translate into application configurations to ensure system design reflects decisions.
  • Anticipates and provides solutions to complex problems with the necessary priorities. Presents solution to operational leaders within respective team/area.
  • Assists in the development and documentation of internal policies and procedures that will be used in conjunction with the application.
  • Actively participates on weekly team meetings to discuss team and project related activities, issues, change, communications, and updates.
  • Builds effective relationships with business partners through all the phases of projects to support completing project's goals.
  • Supports all project team members with application and information systems knowledge.
  • Collaborates with vendor resources; plays an active role in managing the technical build, testing and migration of the system
  • Contributes to testing scripts and materials and performs unit, system, and integrated testing tasks.
  • Documents and maintains all required system design and build documents and configures system accordingly.
  • Engages the clinical and business community to ensure their voices are heard, their needs are met and they are kept informed of project progress.
  • Performs in depth analyses of workflows, data collection, report details and other technical issues associated with the use of their respective system.
  • Promotes a team atmosphere that is conducive to the overall accomplishment of goals, schedules, and deadlines.
  • Provides expertise and experience to the development of production environment readiness plan.
  • Provides on-call support.
  • Supports end users during go live which may include weekend and after hours.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
