Description

The Leidos Health and Civil Sector is seeking an experienced Enterprise/Solution Architect - Lead who you will lead the development of complex solutions across multi-tower and/or multi-service transformational opportunities. You will architect end-to-end integrated solutions leveraging the best mix of offerings, assets, and capabilities to maximize value for our client. Your role will involve ensuring alignment of the solution to the client's organizational goals. You will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and technical expertise to drive successful project outcomes.

Candidate MUST:

Be currently located in the United States for the current three consecutive years. Role is primarily telecommute in the United States only.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior management to design and develop a technology strategy that aligns with the organization's objectives. This involves evaluating the current technical environment and ensuring future growth and scalability.
  • Architecture Design: Develop and oversee the construction of high-level architecture for IT systems, software, and network solutions. This includes but is not limited to infrastructure design, application development frameworks, and integration methods
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various stakeholders-including executives, project managers, business analysts, and development teams-to ensure seamless alignment between business goals and technological implementations.
  • Technology Integration: Govern the integration of new technologies into existing systems and platforms, ensuring compatibility, performance, and security. This often requires extensive knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), and other vital enterprise systems.
  • Documentation and Standards: Create detailed architectural documentation and set technology standards to guide development and maintenance processes across the organization. This also involves establishing protocols for risk management and data security.
  • Solution Evaluation: Assess and critique existing and proposed technologies, processes, and systems to ensure they meet business needs and comply with architectural standards.
  • Optimization and Innovation: Continuously seek to optimize and improve the IT environment through innovative solutions and methodologies. This involves staying current with technological advancements and industry trends.

Basic Qualifications

  • Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience
  • Active Public Trust Clearance or Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree plus 15 years of experience OR Master Degree plus 13 years of experience in respective domain area.
  • 15+ Years' experience in a solutions architect capacity (mid- large scale enterprise systems integration, IT Strategy and Management, IT Transformations, Cloud Architecture, and migrations).
  • 4+ years as a technical solutions architect in a consulting and/or systems integrator environment, including time supporting sales and managing technical staff and implementations.
  • Experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level solutions.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and frameworks. TOGAF experience required, and certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in enterprise architecture.
  • At least 3 years' experience in infrastructure and/or application architecture and design of complex distributed systems environments, including failover techniques, recovery/rollback, and application partitioning.
  • Deliver solution architecture for major programs that involve a combination of on-off premise and SAAS solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment.

Required Technical Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM Technical, Microsoft Dynamics CRM Architecture and Integration.
  • Proficiency in a wide range of technologies, including software development frameworks, cloud computing platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), networking, databases, and cybersecurity.
  • Ability to develop and execute long-term technology strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring flexibility and scalability
  • Strong analytical skills to assess complex business problems, translating them into effective technical solutions.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is crucial.
  • Provide consulting support to application architects within projects to ensure the project is aligned with the overall enterprise architecture
  • Skills in relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
  • Familiarity with programming languages (like Java, Python, C#), version control systems (like Jira), and development frameworks.
  • Knowledge of security tools for vulnerability assessments, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and general cybersecurity practices.
  • Provide support to solutions infrastructure management and engineers throughout the project cycle to ensure development of efficient architecture utilizing established standards, procedures, and methodologies.
  • Collaborating with identified partners in executing quick technical feasibility and proposal development for moving identified workloads to Azure, AWS, and Google.
  • Ensures solution designs and implementation of new system capabilities align and adheres to the enterprise risk policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Contributing to setting the technology direction for the enterprise.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $144,300.00 - $260,850.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
