Description

Leidos Health Mission Solutions is seeking an Endpoint Architect, contingent upon contract award, to support the US Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) in the Rockville, MD area.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Candidate must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance and have lived in the US for the past 3 consecutive years.

The Endpoint Architect is a highly visible strategic position to serve as part of a team to deliver engineering support services to HHS. The team will provide a range of services from comprehensive infrastructure engineering to endpoint integration, ensuring effective data transmission, security compliance, and efficient system operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their mission and vision as well as end-user requirements and needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Develop endpoint optimization roadmaps in collaboration with customer.
  • Develop end-user experience optimization strategy.
  • Develop, design, configure, and implement highly complex technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with team to design and implement endpoint solutions encompassing the following areas: Microsoft O365 cloud solutions, Enterprise email, Platform/Endpoint management, VDI, UCC/VTC/Teams rooms, and mobile device management engineering.
  • Design life cycle processes including the recommendation, deployment, standardization, maintenance, and replacement of current and emerging technologies.
  • Design and deploy secure, scalable, and user-friendly endpoint architectures that optimize performance and user experience.
  • Select, configure, and integrate endpoint management solutions, including Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Cisco CUCM, Azure AVD, Teams Rooms Pro, and other industry-leading platforms.
  • Work with other internal technical experts and teammates to ensure Operations are incorporated into program technical roadmaps and data transformation needs are used to help prioritize work.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive endpoint security policies and procedures to safeguard user devices and HHS data.
  • Manage compliance assessments based on HHS security guides, procedures, policies, methodologies, frameworks, and standards.
  • Lead client discussions and solutions around Endpoint Management, Virtual Desktops, Identity and Access Management, Endpoint Security and Policy Management.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Document and maintain accurate technical documentation for all endpoint solutions.
  • Identify and troubleshoot endpoint issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to user productivity.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience. Generally, has 2+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects. Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance, and the past 3 consecutive years residency in the US.
  • Experience developing endpoint optimization roadmaps.
  • Proven experience in Microsoft O365 cloud solutions engineering, including Exchange Online, Teams, Teams Rooms (or other VTC technologies), and Azure AD, Azure cloud.
  • In-depth knowledge of Enterprise email engineering, platform engineering, VDI engineering, UCC engineering, VTC/Teams room engineering, and mobile device management engineering.
  • Expertise in endpoint management solutions, such as Microsoft Intune, Cisco CUCM, and SCCM.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices and the ability to design secure endpoint architectures.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience working with HHS Enterprise Performance Life Cycle (EPLC) framework and methodology.
  • Experience delivering a project plan of activities, milestones, and timelines for project completion.
  • Knowledge and understanding with DEVOPS development lifecycle.

Desired Qualifications

  • Project management of engineering projects.
  • SCCM/MECP (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) MS 365 Intune.
  • Experience with scripting languages, such as PowerShell.
  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure platforms, such as Azure.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI and Power Platform.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
